Dr. G. Rajashekar Reddy is a Deputy Director of CIF Shodha Sansthan, AdiSankara Nilayam, Veliyanad, Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

He obtained doctorate (Ph.D.) from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati (AP), his research is “Manuscripts’ Editing work on Lexicography text. (Critical Edition of Jātaveda Dīkṣhita’s commentary on the Amarakośa, composed in 12thCentury A.D.)” and M.Phil. in Manuscriptology from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati (AP). He holds Master’s degree in Sanskrit from Osmania University, Hyderabad – Telangana and PG Diploma in Epigraphy from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. In childhood he studied in Traditional Sanskrit Pathashalas such as Sri Malayala Swamy Ashrama Pathashala, Shadnagar, Hydarabad and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Samskrita Pathashala, Yadagirigutta – Telangana.

He has eight years of experience in Manuscript Research in Critical Edition of Manuscripts, Collation and Transliteration of Manuscripts, Cataloguing, Preservation, Conservation, Digitalization of Manuscripts and Research & Publication works such as Proof Reading, Book finalizing for printing etc. in various Universities such as Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha – Tirupati, Central Sanskrit University – New Delhi, Sri Venkateshwara Vedic University – Tirupati etc..

He worked as a Project Fellow for four years in the UGC/MRP – Under Prof. Viroopaksha. V. Jaddipal, Dept. of Research & Publications, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. He worked as a Project Fellow for two years in the Dept. of Research & Publications, Sri Venkateshwara Vedic University, Tirupati (AP). He worked as a Junior Research Fellow in MSP/ASSP at Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

Dr. Reddy has two years’ of experience in teaching as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) in the Dept. of Sahitya, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu & Kashmir and Sri Venkateswara Vedic University – Tirupati. His credit of 4 publication published in journals of repute and he has participated and presented papers in several National and International seminars and workshops in various areas of Sanskrit and Manuscriptology. He has received Honours from Sri Kailāsasāgarasūri Jñānabhaṇḍār, Kobateertham, Ahmadabad, Gujarath.

He is well-versed in ancient scripts such as Śārada, Grantha, Nandināgari, Old-Devanāgari, Old-Telugu, Kannada, Brāhmi etc.
